Wirral Bird Club caters for all who are interested in birds - the mildly interested to the keenly interested - the beginner to the experienced - all are welcome.

The aim of the Club is to promote a general interest in ornithology and in particular to provide opportunities for members to share common interests in birds and to increase their knowledge of birds through meetings, lectures and visits to places of ornithological interest.

Wirral Bird Club also supports national and local organizations concerned with the protection of birds and the conservation of bird habitats.

Monthly Indoor Meetings are held at 8 pm on the 4th Thursday in each month, other than August and December, at Kingsmead School Hall, Bertram Drive, Hoylake. There is a small entrance charge and refreshments are served.

Visitors are welcome.

Outdoor Field Meetings are held as often as possible. Many field meetings are held in Wirral but many are planned to include trips, quite often by coach, to places outside Wirral where interesting bird life may also be found.
