This will be a walk around Leasowe Common, scanning the fields and hedges for resident and migrant birds. Overhead there should be Swallows and House Martins, and hopefully Swifts. We will look over the sands and sea for terns, lingering waders etc. as the tide ebbs.
Guaranteed flat paths! Dry currently, but some parts may get a little muddy after a bit of rain.
Directions:
Meet at the Leasowe Lighthouse car park ready for a 9.30am departure. (Not at the Green Hut café car park).
Leasowe Lighthouse Car Park, Lingham Lane, Moreton, CH46 4TA.
Turn off at the Pasture Road/Leasowe Road junction onto Lingham Lane. Continue along Lingham Lane to the Lighthouse, and the car-park is opposite.
