Explore the incredible wildlife, history and culture of this beautiful island. Birds and mammals are centre-stage, along with reptiles and butterflies. We will visit Buddhist temples and marvel at the colonial architecture in Galle; sample the produce at tea plantations and spice gardens in the hills; take a jeep safari in Yala National Park and relax on palm-fringed beaches; and see the poignant Peraliya Tsuanmi Memorial.
The attached photograph, of an Indian Roller, was taken by Hugh.
