Clifftop walk with views over the Dee salt marshes.
A walk along the banks of the River Dee, looking out over the salt marsh and inland to the scrub, trees and fields.
We will search for waders and wildfowl as well as keeping a watch out for early migrants returning to the UK.
Meet at the free car park at the bottom of Banks Road, Lower Heswall, CH60 9JS (opposite YOT Cafe) for a prompt 9am departure.

NOTE EARLIER START TIME.
The route we take will partly depend on the weather on the day. We may walk to Thurstaston Visitor Centre to have lunch before returning.
Paths mostly good but may be a bit muddy in places after rain or very high tides.
Public toilets at Thurstaston Visitor Centre. Also 2 cafes!
Café and customer toilets at the YOT Café.
If the weather forecast is very bad for the day (hopefully not!), please text/WhatsApp me to get confirmation that the trip is going ahead.
Any questions in the meantime, please contact me.
